After more than two months of silence, I return not to make me feel ... months have been easy for many reasons, but because I think I can say that I have done in recent months (though not "told"!) everything that my political and personal opportunities have allowed me to do (which is why I have not found time to devote to the blog!), I want to tell you where we stand with the start of the path Participatory Budget, main reason why I entered politics in difficult rooms ...
After assurances by the Mayor, the total willingness to start by spring 2009 the participatory budgeting cycle, then boot in every neighborhood cycle of meetings with managers, Paola Asquini, absolutely cooperative and competent, we have provided:
1) operational work plan for the 2009-2010 budget cycle, which provides, inter alia hypothesis of a territorial division of the city in homogeneous areas (in terms of percentage of residents> 16 years), who are based in the company's well-known administrative decentralization, but go beyond trying to regain the division into villages, districts in their original division (I remember that before the seven districts, there were 10 neighborhood committee that offered the opportunity to participate in public)
2) experimentation the method of BP be done by the end of 2008 on the intended use of a minor sports
3) and together with the Head of Communication of the City, Dr. Marina Galluzzo, a communication plan, essential for the management of BP
As for my work more "political", I began to meet with individual groups and neighborhoods, thanks to the availability of committees and associations and through ad hoc invitations, preparing the ground for the initiation of the administrative route waiting for us next year, involving as many people as possible. In this work, and I also assisted by the Committee citizen for the Participatory Budget who said he was interested in building an agenda of public events to raise awareness on the issue.
My public agenda for now has only two planned meetings:
1) that, at the invitation of the homonymous Committee already happened to the Rizzi August 29
2) that in Village Station, which will be held on September 18, at the invitation of the Association workshop of the world, to 20.30, c / o the OND Railway, in Cernaia
My schedule private registers instead many more meetings, but all the other preparatory official and approach to the subject, on whose behalf, by the end of the year, he had "covered up" a bit 'all the districts with more senior appointments (public agenda), with the help of the Communications of the City, where I was gave ample availability for the design of leaflets inviting the public to participate.
